  • We do not store or transmit your camera feed
  • Photos taken through the camera are processed the same way as uploaded photos — sent to our AI providers for image generation and stored in our secure database
  • Camera permission can be revoked at any time in your device Settings under Templo permissions
  • On iOS, you will be prompted to grant camera access the first time you attempt to use it

3. Biometric and Face Data

Templo allows users to upload photos containing human faces. This is considered sensitive biometric data under many laws including the Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI, and GDPR.

  • Face photos you upload are processed by third party AI services (OpenAI, Google, xAI)
  • These photos are stored securely in our database (Supabase)
  • We do not sell or share face photos with any parties other than our AI processing services
  • You may request deletion of your uploaded photos at any time
